Our Monthly Round-Up: March

Adam

Just like that, March is done and dusted!

As we say goodbye to the dark days of Winter and hello to longer, Spring days filled with sunshine, we’ve got a lot to look back on in March. Whether it was celebrating our team’s anniversaries, working on client projects or having some Easter fun, there’s lots to fill you in on. Without further ado, let’s dive in!

Matt's 6 Year Anniversary

On the 12th of the month, project manager Matt, celebrated his sixth anniversary at Limely! Since joining, the team has grown from strength to strength thanks to Matt’s top tier organisational skills and project management wisdom he’s passed on to us all. Here’s what he had to say about his best times at Limely…

“I’ve loved every second. Looking back, I think my favourite project was working on More Handles during the pandemic as it was a fun challenge to manage a project completely remotely and it really did transform the way we work internally. Another one of my best memories has got to be scoring a 180 in darts!”

Over the past 6 years, here are some of the staggering stats he’s tracked;

22,940

tickets completed

624

estimate meetings

209

Jess' 2 Year Anniversary

On the 15th of the month, we also celebrated our content writer Jess’ 2 year anniversary! We honestly can’t believe it’s been two whole years since Jess joined the Limely team… Since then, we’ve had another frontend developer join the team, we’ve onboarded tons of new clients who are still with us today and launched some fantastic websites we’re truly proud of! Congratulations Jess and here’s to many more years writing great content 🥂

ZONE3 Onboarding

We onboarded our brand new client ZONE3, on the 18th and it was great to get to know the team on a deeper level! As a new development retainer and SEO client who have an existing Shopify website, we’re really looking forward to driving growth for the brand with superior SEO strategies and technical improvements that go hand-in-hand to take the brand to the next level. Work begins in April and we couldn’t be more eager to get started and generate some great ideas to boost conversions and drive sales for this established clothing ecommerce brand.

18 Mar

World Happiness Day

We celebrated World Happiness Day on the 20th and Graham’s lovely dog Bane took centre-stage! During World Happiness Day, the happiest countries in the world were revealed and here’s a spoiler; the UK didn’t make the top 10 eek! Finland retained its titled of the happiest country in the world for the seventh year running whilst Denmark and Iceland followed closely behind.

Tile Merchant Website Revamp

We began working on a website revamp for our longstanding client, Tile Merchant this month! This time around, we’ll be refining and updating product pages and category pages to ensure superior UX that encourages conversions, drives sales and boosts the overall shopping experience for Tile Merchant’s customers. We always love evolving existing webistes and we can’t wait to see how this revamp gives Tile Merchant a well-deserved boost in conversions and customer retention. Keep your eyes peeled for the showcase of the updated website designs, coming soon!

Easter Egg Smash!

On the 28th, we had a bit of office fun as directors Graham and Niko battled it out in an Easter Egg Smash competition! If you haven’t heard of this challenge before, it basically involves an egg, a container and lots of tapping until one person eventually smashes the egg and gets in a right mess! The winner gets a creme egg and that’s that. Head to our Instagram, Facebook or TikTok to watch the full video – we promise it’s worth it!

And just like that March is over! We can’t believe we’re already 3 months into 2024 but one thing’s for sure, we’ve certainly got off to a flying start!
