Industville Design Gets Underway!
This month, we got stuck into a brand new website design for our client, Industville. The new Shopify Plus website features an image-led design to highlight Industville’s beautiful, artisanal products, elegant typography to strengthen their position as a premium brand and streamlined UX to ensure an enjoyable online shopping experience for all customers. Additionally, we’re adding personalisation throughout the design with dynamic elements that cater to each customer depending on their recent searches. We’re pretty proud of this design and can’t wait to start building and developing a show-stopping website!
1JunDuke of Westminster's Wedding In Chester
As many of you know, our office is based in the beautiful city of Chester! And in June, the whole town was awash with flowers and excitement thanks to a royal wedding at Chester Cathedral. The historic Cathedral was the perfect beautiful backdrop, dating back to 1541 (making it almost 500 years old). Perhaps the element that some were most excited about was Prince William and Prince George’s attendance! Read more about the event in our recent blog post!
7JunPaul's Birthday
Paul celebrated his birthday on the 11th with a relaxing fishing trip (he caught 10 fish!) a trip to the arcade and a lovely meal out at his favourite pub. Happy Birthday Paul, here’s to another year! 🍻🥳
11JunJess & Gav Saw Taylor Swift
On the 14th, both Jess and Gav were coincidentally in the audience of The Eras Tour as it came to our neighbouring city of Liverpool 🥳 The 3 hour and 40 minute long concert took place at the city’s infamous Anfield Stadium, broke the all-time attendance record for a stadium show at the venue and saw 62,000 swifties dancing and singing their hearts out!
Find out how you can use Taylor Swift’s marketing strategies to drive growth in our recent blog post!
14JunFather's Day

16JunNew Page Designs for Tile Merchant
We began working on a shiny new category page design for longstanding client Tile Merchant. The new design will enhance the website’s UX to ensure a seamless shopping experience for customers and drive conversions for the brand by showcasing more products, above the fold. Previously, filtering options were positioned at the side of the product cards, taking up valuable real estate within the category page. Now, the design features four columns of products displayed across the full-width of the site so users can quickly find what they’re looking for, with filtering options at the top.
We’ve also enhanced the product page design to include star ratings and more streamlined product options to ensure customers can easily choose the colour and quantity of tiles they require. Overall, the new designs are minimal, conversion optimisation and set to increase sales for Tile Merchant!
19JunAdam's Ultramarathon 🏅
On the 22nd, Adam tackled his longest Ultra Marathon yet! That’s right, he completed a gruelling 52.5 mile run (that included a staggering 10,700 feet ascent) across South Snowdonia. The race began at Coed-y-Brenin Forest with over 300 participants at the starting line. We asked Adam about the experience and here’s what he said;
“It was a blisteringly hot day and I certainly questioned my life choices multiple times. I met some truly incredible runners out there, each one pushing their limits and inspiring me to keep going. Now, after a few days of rest, it’s back to training. August’s big race is just around the corner, and I can’t wait to tackle it with the same determination!”
Despite the obstacles, he managed to finish the race in an impressive 13 hours and 49 minutes, landing him in 69th place and earning him a Gold medal! Here are a few stats to put the achievement into perspective;
- He racked up a jaw-dropping 98,000 steps
- Burned a whopping 8,000 calories.
- It’s like doing 27 park runs back-to-back, each in 30 minutes!
- Climbed the equivalent of 7 summits.
Huge congratulations, Adam 👏👏👏
