The first month of the year certainly hasn’t been a quiet one here at Limely HQ. Our latest? A new website for Chester-based Nine Elephants just went live. We can’t wait for you to see it.
You may or may not have heard the news that Chester has recently gained a new player on the independent food scene. Nine Elephants aims to provide a drink and dine experience with a contemporary twist on authentic Thai tastes. Whether you’re a fan of Thai food or not we’re pretty confident you’re going to love this new site!
Designing and developing the site
You may remember our blog post back in mid-December when we announced that Nine Elephants had chosen us as their digital partner. When we last spoke, Adam was working away on the design for the site. We’d chosen to go with a black website as we thought this not only suited the restaurant’s branding but also allows the colourful dishes to take centre stage.
The designs were soon handed over to the dev team where Graham brought the visuals to life with parallax scrolling and subtle hover effects. We’ve also built in an online reservation booking system and the menu is available to download as PDF. It didn’t take long to populate the site and we were ready to put it live! Keep an eye out for the portfolio page where we’ll go into more detail but for now, take a look at the site for yourself…Check it out!
The drink and dine experience
The Thai food haven opened its doors on Saturday 13th with a VIP Cocktail Dinner Party and is now open to the public and ready to tantalise your taste-buds! Nine Elephants describe themselves as ‘a drink and dine experience’ which we think we’ve managed to showcase on their slick new site. Overall, we’re all really happy with how the project went and most importantly, so are the clients!
