We’re celebrating a BIG workiversary!
On the 20th November, our highly-skilled and hilarious developer Szymon (otherwise known as Shizzy), celebrated 5 whole years of working at Limely! We honestly can’t believe where the time has gone. In true Limely style, we wanted to take a moment to celebrate this milestone by taking a look back over the last 5 years at everything’s that’s happened since Szymon joined the team back in 2018.
Of course, we couldn’t celebrate Szymon’s 5 year workiversary without asking for his favourite memories from the last few years. Here’s what he had to say:
“When I used to work from the office I enjoyed playing table tennis but wasn’t very good at darts. I used to love the chip butties when there was a birthday and Christmas parties were great. My favourite projects were Lingerie Outlet Store and More Handles, I had no idea there were so many interesting handles out there, haha! I have no dream projects to work on, just taking it as it comes 😎”
Szymon Joins Team Limely!
On the 20th November 2018, Shizzy joined Team Limely as a developer. Back then, he was living in Chester and we were working from our city centre office full time! It feels like so long ago now as we’ve been through so much together since then, from lockdowns to marriages and babies.

On the 28th February 2021, Szymon became a first-time dad as he welcomed his son, Stanislaw (Stanley) into the world in the early hours of that Sunday morning.
2021FebSzymon Gets Married!
Szymon and Joanna tied the knot on the 18th June 2022 and Limely were lucky enough to get an invite to the wedding. After travelling all the way to Gdańsk, Poland, Team Limely had the best time celebrating Szymon and Joanna. What a beautiful day!
2022JunArthur Is Born!
On the 31st May 2023, Szymon became a dad for the 2nd time as he welcomed Arthur into the world. What a cutie!
2023MaySzymon Turns 40!
On the 28th October, Szymon celebrated his 40th birthday. He had a wonderful time celebrating as his wife Joanne threw him a show-stopping surprise party with over 60 guests, delicious food and an amazing DJ!
2023OctSzymon Celebrates 5 Years At Limely!
On the 20th November, we celebrated Shizzy being a part of the team for 5 whole years! Here’s what director Gavin had to say:
“Shizzy is part of the Limely furniture! Working with him over the last 5 years has been great and a highlight for me has got to be attending his beautiful wedding in Poland last year! Here’s the many more years of working together” – Gavin
