Our Top 5 Perfect Websites For Christmas

Niko Moustoukas

With 3 sleeps to go before it’s Christmas, we thought we’d continue to slip into the festive spirit.

And in today’s blog post we’re going to be exploring the wonderful result of Christmas merging with the internet!

Although Christmas is widely known as a time heavily laden with tradition, we’re in 2020 for crying out loud! It was only a matter of time that it collided with our obsession with anything online. Especially with many Christmases this year taking place via Zoom, Skype and FaceTime, it’s time some new, more contemporary traditions were made.

That said, we thought we’d introduce to you some of the specially themed websites out there that will help bring in the festive cheer and spread smiles all round. Take a look!

Google’s Santa Tracker

Google’s Santa Tracker allows you to do just that – track Santa! Full to the brim with fun games, music and activities, when Christmas Eve arrives you’ll be able to check up on what old Kris Kringle is up to as he begins to deliver presents across the world. A great site for the kiddies, you’re able to get into the festive spirit all December long.

Is it Christmas?

One to tickle your funny bone, this site simple answers the question, ‘Is it Christmas?’… and that’s about it. No, seriously! Click and take a look for yourself.

Elf Yourself

You can’t have social media and not have seen someone using this site at some point in December. A popular one amongst the Facebook mum’s, Elf Yourself allows you to upload pictures of you and your friends which are then put on the bodies of dancing elves and well, you just let the hilarity ensue.

Green Envelope

We mentioned Green Envelope back in our blog post about how you could have a greener Christmas, as it helps you avoid sending wasteful, paper cards by providing you with the means to send fun, online ones! So, why don’t you get on your creative cap and muster up a festive e-card to send straight to your loved one’s inbox!

Drawasaurus

Ran out of board games on Christmas day? Try Drawasaurus! An online gaming hub, you can play this Pictionary style game with the people across the room or someone across the globe. Just log on, create a chat room and get drawing!

Have you found any more Christmassy websites you want to share? Be sure to let us know on our Instagram, Facebook and Twitter!
