So according to this blog post, May is the month of holidays and birthdays! That’s not to say we slacked on work though…
With the best weather the country’s seen since the 70s, May was pretty good. This month’s round-up is jam-packed full of birthdays, trips away and exciting projects. Fun fact: three people at Limely had birthdays this month – with a combined age of 91!
2nd May – Bolton Birch Goes Live
The all-new refreshed Bolton Birch website was an exciting collaboration between designer Adam and developer Spencer. Along with a totally modernised look for the commercial property site, Adam also designed new branding and stationery to improve Bolton Birch’s digital and print identity. 3rd May – Global Travel Group Designs Underway
After a successful discovery meeting, our designer Emma has been busy cracking away putting ideas into Photoshop. We’re absolutely loving the progress on this behind-the-scenes project so far – Emma’s had nothing but great feedback from Global! This looks like it’s gonna be a good one…
15th May – Oliver & Co GDPR Seminar
With just ten days to go until the GDPR kick-off, we sent Emma to Oliver & Co’s ‘Are You Ready?’ seminar at Chester Racecourse. Content writer by day, Data Protection Officer also by day, Emma took away some valuable lessons and was able to complete our brand new privacy policy the same day.
17th May – Em’s Surprise Trip to Budapest
It was designer Em’s birthday on the 16th May for which we gave her the day off, little did she know she’d be whisked away to Budapest for the rest of the week! The city break was kept a complete surprise and she enjoyed the local beers and sights over a lovely long weekend.
18th May – Adam Goes to Portugal
And our other designer Adam was jet-setting this month, too! This wasn’t a surprise, although Adam also had a birthday this month (later on the 28th). Ad, wife Hannah and adorable daughter Evelyn joined a group of friends in Portugal for a week of sun, sand and sea.
19th May – Niko’s Birthday Suprise
In the trio of birthdays in May, Niko celebrated his 30th. His wife Jen cleverly organised a surprise party at the Brewhouse in Chester, inviting loads of friends, family and of course, Team Limely! On top of that, Adam’s wife Hannah made this amazing cake for Niko. Are there too many Potato Heads for just one picture?
25th May – Em Goes to London
The final holiday of the month: creative writer Emma took the Friday afternoon off to catch the train down to London. She partied in Shoreditch on Friday night and spent the whole of Saturday enjoying the sun and foodie delights of Camden Market! Oh, and took the obligatory tourist pic with the Amy Winehouse statue.
Well, those are all Team Limely’s highlights from May. It’s been a great 31 days – and not just because there were two Bank Holidays…☀ See you next month!
