As January came to a close, we took a moment to reflect on everything that went down in the first month of the new year! From new clients and new website projects to exciting meetings and some personal successes, we’re here to spill the beans on everything in our first monthly round-up of 2024. Roundtower Choose Limely!
On the 3rd, we welcomed a brand new client on board the Limely train! Join us in giving a warm welcome to highly-esteemed architectural ironmongery and lime-based building materials brand, Roundtower. We can’t wait to get stuck in to this exciting ecommerce project where we’ll be designing and developing not one but two show-stopping Shopify websites to drive growth and sales for the brand. Keep your eyes peeled for the final outcome!
On the 4th, we held a discovery meeting for our newest client, Roundtower. We took a deep dive into the brand’s priorities, business objectives, website design preferences, functionality requirements and everything in between to ensure we had a solid understanding before we even begin designing their two new Shopify sites! Now we’re equipped with everything we need to design and build two truly memorable ecommerce websites to boost sales, increase conversions and drive growth for the brand.
Towbar Express UX Improvements
On the 8th, we hit the launch button on some sleek UX improvements for our longstanding client, Towbar Express. In light of how important the ecommerce user journey is in terms of driving sales and building customer loyalty, we’re always looking out for key UX improvements we can make to our clients’ sites.
Recently, we identified a few key opportunities to streamline the user journey in order to increase conversions and boost user satisfaction. These included optimising promotional banners to ensure they’re eye-catching and engaging, developing bespoke UX features to reduce confusion for users adding complex products to their carts and optimising category pages. We’re sure that Towbar Express will start to see the benefits of these UX optimisations in the form of improved SEO metrics and increased conversions, very soon!

Discover actionable recommendations to boost sales
On the 10th, we launched a brand new wishlist functionality for another longstanding client, Gorgeous Shop. According to Google, 40% of online shoppers feel they would benefit from a wishlist feature that allows them to save their favourite products, so it’s safe to say that this is an integral feature that will vastly improve UX and drive sales for the beauty brand.
Team Limely Scores Three 180's 🎯
By the 23rd of the month, Team Limely had scored not one, not two but three 180’s in darts! Adam started off the lucky streak at the beginning of the month with his first ever 180 and our SEO guru Paul, finished off the hat-trick by scoring two within a week! Paul is now top of the leaderboard with an impressive four 180s’ to his name. We’re sure that the rest of the team will be feeling the pressure so watch this space!
NW Security Group Design Retainer
On the 24th, our previous clients NW Security Group, signed up to our new Designer Retainer service. We’re so excited to be able to offer this new service that helps brands by eliminating the inconvenience and expense associated with sustaining an in-house design team. Instead, brands can tap into our extensive expertise with ongoing design support that allows them to create anything they need, from promotional banners and printed stationery all the way to branding evolution and logo design. We’re looking forward to working with the NW Security Group team once again!
Burns Night Lunch
On the 25th, we celebrated Burns Night in the only way we know how, with food! Adam cooked up a feast and served slow-cooked Irn Bru chicken. It’s safe to say it’s one of the best lunches we’ve ever had 😍
Limely Upgrades FDF To Hyvä Theme
On the 30th, we made a start on upgrading Factory Direct Flooring’sMagento 2 website to Hyvä. We’ve been working with FDF for a number of years now and as a result of the growth they’ve had, the next natural progression for the brand is to upgrade their site to the lightning-fast and innovative, Hyvä Theme! We truly can’t wait to get stuck in to this project and drive further success for a fantastic brand!
And just like that, the first month of 2024 is over! It’s certainly been a very busy start to the year and we’ve started how we mean to go on 💪
