The longest month of the year is finally over which means two things: a much-needed payday (duh) and a highly-anticipated Limely round-up. Cheers to February!
But first, we want to reflect on what’s been, as usual, a super busy month here at Limely. We’ve had a great start to 2018 – as you’ll soon see – and couldn’t wait to share it with you. Here’s a little taster of what we’ve been up to.
2nd January – We’re hiring!
Yep, you heard it right. We’re looking to fill a frontend-dev-shaped hole in our fantastic team at the moment – particularly someone who really knows their stuff. If you’re a mid/senior level developer and you’ve got what it takes to become a part of Limely, head over to our careers page now!
3rd January – HonestyBox development starts
We were approached towards the end of last year by exciting startup HonestyBox to create a brand new WordPress website. Our design team have been busy cracking away at this one and now it’s over to development to really bring it to life! Watch this space.
4th January – Banksy comes to play
Our favourite Insta-famous puppy came into the Limely office at the start of January! Designer Em bought her beautiful Frenchie Banksy in for a day of treats, cuddles and lots of photos, of course. If you want more of Banksy in your life (who wouldn’t?), you can follow his Instagram page here.
7th January – Tactical Solutions design starts
We had been working away on wireframes for Tactical Solutions towards the end of 2018 and now that they’ve signed off, the fun begins! Adam has been working on putting together a complete design for the retail solutions company’s all-new WordPress site. Keep your eyes peeled!
15th January – C-Tech sign off on designs
Remember near the end of last year when we announced our digital partnership with C-Tech Innovations? Well, designer Em has been busy working on the wireframes and now the designs. The good news? They’ve all been signed off! Next up… dev.
24th January – inScience Communications goes live
Woohoo! Our first site of 2019 to go live. We started working with inScience Communications (part of Springer Healthcare) back in 2018. And now, we can finally say the project is complete and the shiny new WordPress website is live. Check it out here.
26th January – Emma goes to Copenhagen
For late birthday celebrations, our content writer jetted off to Denmark to explore the beautiful streets of Copenhagen. It was chilly but completely worth it – Emma and her friend Mica got to experience the sights, nightlife, shopping, oh, and more nightlife! But we’ll leave those pictures out.
31st January – Limely at the Northern Digital Awards

For the final day of the month, Team Limely took a road trip up North to Leeds. We only went and got nominated for Best Ecommerce Site (for Lingerie Outlet Store, if you were interested)! Unfortunately, we didn’t win this time but we still had a cracking night out in Leeds.
