Industville approached Limely in 2024 needing a highly-functional and beautiful ecommerce store for their leading lighting and interiors brand. We designed and developed a bespoke Shopify Plus experience with UX and mobile-responsiveness at its core, targeting both residential consumers and B2B trade customers, delivering a 43.93% increase in traffic and 15.6% growth in mobile revenue.



Streamlined product inventory with an advanced bespoke script
Industville had duplicate products across various colourways which was slowing performance and creating a fragmented browsing experience. We built a custom script to merge these duplicate products, enabling seamless colourway browsing directly from product display pages, improving both frontend speed and backend efficiency for the merchandising team.
The impact we made

Shopify Visual Filters for a fully customisable experience
Industville's products come in a wide range of customisable options: shade styles, holder finishes, and bulb types. We implemented Shopify Visual Filters to give customers a rich, intuitive product customisation experience directly on the product page. This has significantly improved the shopping experience for buyers seeking specific combinations, reducing the need to navigate between multiple product variants.



Supercharging speed by replacing third-party plugins
A previous reliance on ACF and other third-party plugins was adding unnecessary overhead. We replaced these with native Shopify metafields, stripping out the bloat and delivering meaningful speed improvements across the store. The result is a faster, cleaner codebase that is easier to maintain, with Core Web Vitals scores consistently above 90%.

Merchandising and personalisation with Nosto
We integrated Nosto's AI-powered solution for dynamic product recommendations, search-triggered variant display, and personalised merchandising. By integrating Nosto with GraphQL, we ensured crawler indexing without compromising the customisation experience, protecting organic visibility while delivering a highly personalised shopping journey.


Nurturing customer relationships with a dedicated content hub
We developed an editorial-style content hub with shoppable articles and case studies, migrating all existing content and integrating shoppable elements throughout. The topic cluster strategy with keyword optimisation has significantly boosted organic visibility, drawing in both residential and trade customers at the research phase of their buying journey.



Driving trade sales with B2B signposting
Recognising Industville's significant B2B revenue stream, we built a dedicated trade area with account applications and tiered pricing. This builds authority within the trade sector while streamlining the wholesale purchasing process and giving commercial buyers a clear, fast route to placing orders and managing their account.
