Back in August 2022, dim t approached us as they were in need of a new restaurant website oozing with functionality. Their existing website looked sleek, but lacked the advanced features, functionality and superior user experience needed to make the website a true success.

Driving table bookings with an interactive menu

To highlight their stunning menu, we developed a bespoke interactive feature that showcases every detail and leaves no stone unturned. The feature displays allergens, nutritional information, calories and even allows users to filter the menu by dietary requirements.

Maximising conversions with seamless table booking

Increasing table bookings was naturally one of dim t’s main objectives for the new site. To maximise the number of bookings, we implemented an eye-catching call to action in the sticky header. By utilising dim t’s bright red brand colour, we ensured that customers can always find this crucial button, no matter how they reach the site.

Within the booking form itself, we strategically used colour to display available and unavailable times and dates to ensure that customers can quickly and easily complete their booking and secure a reservation.

The user-centric booking process puts simplicity first to ensure that there are no friction points that could reduce the chances of a customer booking a table and dining at dim t.

Improving customer satisfaction with speedy delivery & collection

For dim t, their takeaway service is an integral part of the business that must be promoted in order to drive growth. To encourage collection and delivery orders, we seamlessly integrated booking processes from trusted delivery partners within the site. Utilising dim t’s branding, we ensured that these integrations looked in-keeping with the rest of the site to demonstrate credibility and build trust.

Whether a customer prefers to collect their takeaway meal directly from their nearest dim t restaurant or have their dish delivered straight to their door, they can do both with just the push of a button!

Reaching a new audience with advanced restaurant search

One of the most important elements of a restaurant website is enabling customers to easily find their nearest restaurant. Our state-of-the-art restaurant search tool makes this as easy as possible for users.

The lightning fast and user-friendly tool consists of a simple drop-down menu that lists all of the dim t restaurants. When a user clicks on a specific location, the address is instantly displayed along with the ‘book a table’ form. Encouraging table bookings and making the user-experience a breeze for both new and existing customers alike.


Responsive design for seamless mobile navigation

To maximise conversions, we focused heavily on optimising the new site for mobile, desktop and tablet users alike. We expertly crafted a unique, responsive website design to ensure a seamless user experience, no matter what device a customer prefers.

We implemented thumb-friendly navigation and ensured that important call to action buttons such as ‘book now’ and ‘view menu’ are always placed within the optimal thumb-friendly zone for easy access. This strengthened the overall mobile experience, demonstrated by the 10.8% increase in mobile sessions since launch.
