When Chester’s beloved, multiple award-winning coffee shop approached us to create a website for their well-established brand, we couldn’t wait to get started. We designed and developed an effective WooCommerce website that both drives customers to their shop and encourages users to make online purchases.

Customer-centric design to gain loyal customers

Customer-centric design is paramount to any website design, but even more so when the aim is to entice users to visit a physical space such as a coffee shop. In order to drive site visitors into the shop, we ensured that opening times, locations, contact details and of course, menus are easily accessible from the homepage.

Minimalist, Scandinavian design to strengthen online presence

Jaunty Goat’s branding and premises provided inspiration for the website design. As their existing photography was so beautiful, we let the images do the talking! It was key that the website design was centred around showcasing their Scandi-cool coffee shop interior, sumptuous dishes and of course, the exceptional coffees they serve.

By utilising a monochrome colour palette, we created a clean and simple interface that reflects the Jaunty Goat brand and provides a seamless user experience for site visitors.

Driving online sales with an integrated ecommerce store

Using the WooCommerce plugin on WordPress, we cleverly constructed an easy-to-use shopping area within the Jaunty Goat site. Designed to drive online sales and provide an additional income stream for the brand, this was a non-negotiable for the new website design.

Customers can now create a coffee shop experience from the comfort of their own homes by purchasing Jaunty Goat products and accessories via their online shop.

Improving the customer journey with seamless order management

A bespoke customer dashboard allows shoppers to log into the Jaunty Goat site, track their orders and store information such as addresses and payment methods for faster checkout. Making the online shopping experience even more streamlined and user friendly.

Responsive design to improve the customer experience

Mobile-friendly web design was integral to the success of this project as many site visitors will inevitably research coffee shops on-the-go, as they wander through the city of Chester.

Thanks to the thumb-friendly design, users can easily access the site from any device and experience the same beautiful design and usability as they would on desktop. This vastly improves the overall customer experience, encourages footfall and leaves a lasting, positive impression.
