We were tasked with not only building a fully customisable WordPress site for New Horizons but creating a brand completely from scratch.
So, our team got down to work by marrying vivid colours together with vibrant gradients to give the site some personality – one that depicts ‘a brighter tomorrow’. We combined stunning design and effortless usability to create a short-term loan website like no other.

Our mission was to create a brand for New Horizons that stands out from the crowd, one that people will notice and relate to. In order to do this, we checked out the competition by compiling a list of short-term loan providers with one goal in mind: to blow them all out of the water.
To do this, the design and usability needed to work hand in hand in a way that competitor sites, well, just didn’t. But before any web design got underway, we needed to master a logo. Staring at a blank canvas, we decided that the brand name echoed all things uplifting, positive and bright. It made sense that the colours used within the logo were bold but fun – after much deliberation, a cocktail of pink and yellow it was!

Visitors to the New Horizons website are greeted with UX-focused features that make every single step as easy as possible. We wanted web users to feel comfortable, at ease and informed. After all, that’s exactly what New Horizons intended to achieve with their business.

Stock imagery can be the worst, so we opted to avoid anything too cliché
We wanted to make a statement with the imagery we used on the site and nothing says ‘short-term loans’ more than a pair of dogs on a buried on a beach sporting red sunglasses… I mean, are we wrong?
We specifically handpicked a selection of quirky images which we knew would positively reflect the brand and the personality throughout the site.
Visit WebsiteWe created a fully integrated step-by-step form where users are able to check their eligibility for a loan. We obviously didn’t want this process to be too overwhelming in order to keep bounce rate low and conversions high. That’s why we opted for a stripped-back approach, with bespoke icons and user-friendly text.
It has never been more important to ensure your site is optimised for mobile. As always, we made the site fully responsive, meaning users could access the information on any device and still be met with the same strong design and usability, whether they were using a mobile, tablet or desktop.
