Building a bespoke website for dangerous goods packaging

Creating a professional brochure site

AirSea is a global company manufacturing and supplying dangerous goods packaging, with offices located around the world. So, whilst their main product is pretty serious and important, we wanted to make sure we could show off their branding and reputation in the best possible light.

Our design team knuckled down on the UI/UX side of things, taking AirSea’s existing colours and breathing new life into them. Then, our dev team got stuck in with the fully-functional WordPress build.

Lovely little features

Along with the intricate illustrations of an AirSea factory scene, we made sure that the site’s design was not just beautiful but entirely UX-focused, too. Product imagery takes centre stage against a white background whilst the soft blue hues of AirSea’s branding give extra depth to the UI. Whilst this is a brochure website, we’ve integrated a handy quote system and recommended product guide.

Bespoke quotation system

We integrated a bespoke quotation system, allowing site users to ‘add to quote’ when they see a product they’re interested in. Once complete, the quote list can then be sent off for AirSea can confirm all the appropriate information. We also included a handy alert that will warn users to purchase the correct hazard labels for their order – it’s important to get these details right when handling such strictly regulated products.

Intelligent product import

AirSea’s existing site was built on Magento and we quickly informed them that we felt it wasn’t the right platform. To create a bespoke, purposeful new site we imported all the existing products from the old site to a┬ánew WordPress build. Of course, this included all the images, pricing and attributes that were necessary to the user journey.

Get In Touch

Got questions? We’ve covered them

Due to the complexity of choosing the right type of dangerous goods packaging, there will always be questions! To combat this, we designed and built in a dedicated FAQs page to provide users with the information they need and fast. The accordion-style FAQs allows potential customers to quickly seek out the answers to their questions.

In case they’re still stuck, there are plenty of CTAs on the page to point users in the right direction, should they need extra advice or guidance.

The mobile version is just as beautiful

We’ve used a crisp colour scheme and clean design for AirSea – meaning it was the perfect contender for responsiveness. Although we prioritise cross-device fluidity on all of our websites, some projects particularly lend themselves to looking great on mobile.

The simplicity of AirSea’s stunning website translates beautifully on any device.

The Result

They were all smiles!

Limely were able to turn around the project on time and to a high standard. They were always at the end of the phone or an email if we had any issues. Feedback from our users has been very positive. Limely have been a pleasure to work with, we look forward to working with them again on future projects.
