Surprise! We may still be working from home, but we have a brand new member of the Limely team to introduce to you. Say hello to Carmine, our new Magento Developer!

As you may have read in one of our latest blog posts, it’s been 100 days since Limely left the office to work from home. Since then, we’ve been pretty much business as usual as we’ve all continued working hard from our living rooms. And nothing quite says business as usual more than a brand new team member! Limely are delighted to announce that we’ve gained a new family member in the form of Magento Developer, Carmine D’Amore!

Carmine will be joining our team of developers; helping out with some of the important and integral work that goes on behind the scenes of our client’s brand new websites. It’s true to say that Carmine has joined us in undoubtedly strange times, but that doesn’t mean he’s not had the same level of welcome! And to stick to tradition, we conducted a little interview with Carmine to get to know him a little better and to see how his first days at Limely have gone!

How long have you been a developer?

I started about 10 years ago. In the beginning, it was more of a hobby to do during my free time. Over time, my passion for programming grew alongside my desire to discover new things and eventually, my hobby became my job!

In spite of working from home, how have you found Limely so far?

I found it to be a dynamic and friendly environment. My new work colleagues are exceptional; they made me feel at home right from the start.

What do you like doing in your spare time?

During my free time, I really enjoy reading and listening to music. Sometimes, I do some DIY at home or go to the park with my son, Dawny.

What are the last 3 albums you played on Spotify?

Tutu – Miles Davis

Che Dio Ti Benedica – Pino Daniele

Dangerous – Michael Jackson

What do you love most about being a developer?

The things I like most are the continuous updates that come along with developing, as well as creating new and useful things for my customers.

And finally, if you could work with a dream client, who would it be?

I have 2! SSC Napoli and Ferrari. 🚗
