Throwback Thursday: Looking Back at Past Projects

21 June 2018| Post by Adam3 minutes

Happy #ThrowbackThursday! We’ve got Absolute 90s blaring in the office and we’re raring to go.

The term Throwback Thursday, a.k.a TBT, has become somewhat a superstar trend of social media, particularly on Instagram. In fact, we’d go as far to say that #TBT is regularly used on a daily basis by internet users – it’s simply a massive excuse to be nostalgic. However, we’re going back to basics. It’s Thursday and we’re throwing it back.

Our favourite past projects for #TBT

So, we thought there couldn’t possibly be a better way to enjoy this momentous day (that really isn’t that special as it comes round once a week) to look back on our work. Yeah, we could throwback to some of our favourite social media trends, memes and moments. But we wanted to go all personal on you. Here are some of Team Limely’s fave projects that we love to look back on:

Property portfolio for Carman Friend

The property portfolio we created for Carman Friend is the perfect example of how dream clients mean dream websites. Sami and Gareth were open to our suggestions and also had plenty of their own – with creative input from both sides and a massive amount of trust, we designed and built this stunning site. We’re still super proud of it today and Carman Friend is continuing to smash the estate agent market in Chester.

Restaurant website with online reservation for Nine Elephants

When the team at Nine Elephants approached us about creating their first foray into the digital world, we were just as excited as them. It was our first foray into the food world! We’re really pleased with the end result – a stylish, dark website with gorgeous parallax scrolling and beautiful imagery. Oh, and the reservation system is pretty nice too.

Brochure website for Solicitor Assist

This slick, clean brochure website for Solicitor Assist won us one of our CSS Design Awards – and rightly so! Our designer Emma loved working alongside the team at Sol Assist to create this impressive, modernised design and even threw in some lovely staff photographs. It’s safe to say we’re now lifelong friends with the team.

Magento e-commerce solution for Lakeland Furniture

Another simple yet elegant website: Lakeland Furniture needed a large-scale e-commerce solution and we definitely delivered. The company had been (and continue to) go from strength to strength. Realistically, they needed a digital solution that could handle their growth. We continue to work alongside the team at Lakeland Furniture to constantly update and improve their Magento site, along with delivering regular content for their online blog!
