Our Monthly Round-Up: June

1 July 2019| Post by Robbie4 minutes

More projects, more clients and even more birthdays!

Well, the month of June certainly came and went. Despite it being the fastest month of our lives, a lot happened at Limely! Let us break it down for you. 😎

6th June – JPL Choose Limely

We kicked off June in the best way possible by welcoming a brand new client. JPL Flavour  Technologies has put their trust in Limely to whip them up a delicious, new WordPress site. We’re going to be doing a complete makeover of their current site, making sure that it rightly represents their expert services, ethics and professionalism, all whilst displaying their family driven dynamic!

8th June – A Birthday!

As you can probably tell from last month’s roundup, we’ve got quite a few spring/summer babies in the office.

On the 8th June, we wished a very happy birthday to our in house Creative Writer, Charlotte!  We sat down to our usual celebratory fish and chip dinner, a birthday tradition in the Limely office, and reserved all comments about how old she is. 🤫

Charlotte’s the latest addition to the Limely team; if you’d like to get to know her a little better, click here to check out her mini-interview!

16th June – Gavin went to Dogfest!

Whilst the remainder of the office festered in their jealousy, developer extraordinaire Gavin went off to Dogfest! Not ‘web’ related in the slightest, but man oh man, it’s definitely worth a mention. 😍

Dogfest is an annual summer festival that visits a couple of places in the UK, including Tatton Park in Cheshire. The festival is just dogs, dogs and more dogs and according to Gavin, a great day out for everyone! Gavin treated us with some great snaps of the day, including some of his little (or not so little) Newfoundland pup, Milo! We thought we’d share them with you too. You’re welcome.

20th June – Hart & Co Choose Limely

On the 20th of June, we welcomed yet another client! Limely is about to start working on a brand new WordPress site for Hart & Co; a Chester based estate agent who specialises in commercial and residential properties. We’re going to be treating them to a new modern design, as well as a top-notch site which will demonstrate their unique services, as well as their friendy and professional approach.

If you’d like to read more about the work we’ll be doing with Hart & Co, click here to read all about it in our blog post!

Here’s a little bit extra for the 20th. Our very own developer and football fanatic, Graham, brought home the gold for his Chester football team FC Uber, winning the treble!

We’re not just web geniuses and pretty faces here at Limely. 😏

21st June – Limely Poker Night

On the penultimate Friday of June, the Limely gang were let loose from the office on a cheeky little night out. However, the night surprisingly began in quite a sophisticated manner; with a friendly game of poker.

A game mixed with novices and pros, it didn’t take long for the table to empty and we did end up with an overall winner in the form of Director Niko. It’s safe to say that even as we roll into July, he’s not letting any of us forget who walked away victorious.

24th June – Sage Psychologie Development Begins

If you’re an avid reader of the Limely Blog, you would have seen our ongoing work with Clinical Neuropsychology providers, Sage Psychologie. After months of work and deliberations, the design of their sleek and stylish site has been signed off and the development has begun! Limely’s team of developers are working their magic as we speak, meaning we should be seeing the finished product go live in about a month or so. Stay tuned!

And that’s that! ‘Till next time. 👋
