*Blasts Celebration by Kool and the Gang at full volume*

Yes, that’s right! It’s time to celebrate, eat cake and be merry as it’s Limely’s birthday and this time around, we are proposing a toast to 5 whole years!

5 years ago to the day, your favourite, zesty web agency was born – the brainchild of Director’s Niko, Adam, Graham and Gavin. Their aim was to pull in all of their digital experience, their unbeatable skills and overflowing passion for web wizardry in order to introduce a web agency like no other. One that delivered high-quality work, an attentive service and results that boosted our clients business and evoked beaming smiles all round. And, we think it’s safe to say that after looking back at the past 5 years – we’ve achieved exactly that!

Over the years we’ve shaken hands with a wide range of clients and provided services for every aspect of their digital journey – applying as much hard work, passion and determination as we possibly can towards every project that graced our computer screens. If you couldn’t tell already from our presence online, we have so much love and care for what we do and try to inject that into every inch of what Limely’s all about.

As always, we’d like to say a MASSIVE thank you to all of our clients of Limely past, present and future. Especially to those who have jumped on board this year, as we don’t have to tell you that 2020 has been one hell of a time for everyone, so the support is extra appreciated. And obviously, we’d like to give a massive shout out to the Limely team who without, we wouldn’t be able to do what we do!

So, although this year has been SUCH a weird one, we still have a lot to show for it! That said, come and take a trip down memory lane with us as we look at 2020 through the eyes of Limely.

Limely’s 2020

Nowadays when you say 2020, you are met with moans, groans and a rolling of the eyes. But for Limely, things feel a little different! Since November 2019, we have designed, developed and populated 26 websites, and put in 12,803.51 hours of work, most of that being whilst working from home! That said, we’ve still got around 2 months left of the year so, things can only get better.

In terms of the people who make Limely, we are chuffed to say that we’ve not had to wave goodbye to anyone in 2020! Instead, we have had two, very exciting hellos in the form of our new Magento 2 Developer, Carmine D’Amore and our new SEO Manager Paul Gregory.  Alongside Paul’s introduction, we also announced that Limely’s services would be expanding into the realm of SEO, and we were delighted for Paul to be our guiding light!

Although we couldn’t give them the usual Limely welcome party, it gives us all the more reason to throw a huge shindig when this is all over.

We’ve worked incredibly hard!

The pandemic has tested everyone’s patience in 2020, but it’s only made us work harder. Since last November 2019, we have welcomed aboard Deva Trading, Rhino Products & AVS Steps, Wren’s Tale, Westminster Stone, Beat It, GetOnSite and so many more. We are so over the moon whenever a business puts their trust into the hands of Limely as it gives us a chance to do what we love, make a difference and bring in results for deserving businesses.

Websites we’ve put live

One of the greatest things about our job is that not one project is ever the same. We see such a wide range of clients coming through our doors and each one proposes a brand new approach and challenges us to utilise our skills in a multitude of ways. Here are just some of the websites we’ve launched this year!

A different kind of Limely party…

You might remember that for last year’s birthday, we partied true Limely style. But for obvious reasons, that wasn’t able to happen this year. For the entirety of 2020 in fact, the usual Limely socials have had to take a back seat. But, that doesn’t mean we haven’t had fun! To keep everyone smiling through lockdown, we’ve partied – Zoom style.

That said, to truly celebrate this joyous occasion, Limely ever so kindly treated the team to an afternoon off and a takeaway of their choice to enjoy with their family. We like to treat our team at times like this as, without them, we wouldn’t be able to achieve the things we do! A takeaway and the afternoon off? Now, that is our kind of party. 🥳

Big things yet to come!

In spite of the obvious, 2020 has been a great year for Limely – and we don’t plan on stopping. With big plans for the future, we hope you stick around and continue to support us so we can continue making a huge mark within our industry. Here’s to the next 5 years – and the rest!
